Transport is the sector that emits the most CO2<\/sub>\u00a0 in France, accounting for over 30% of the country’s emissions. The rapid electrification of our modes of transport is therefore essential to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. To contribute to this dynamic, in 2020 Kallista Energy initiated the development of YAWAY – a network of 90 recharging stations.<\/p>\n

They will be equipped with very high-power charging stations (300 kW and more) to bring the time it takes to recharge closer to the time it takes to fill up with petrol.
\nMost of them will be directly connected to a local electricity production source (wind or solar power) installed nearby. Thanks to short-circuit electricity production, users will be able to benefit from very competitive recharging rates and total transparency over the source of the electricity. Solar and wind energy are inexhaustible and emit very little CO2<\/sub>, which means that electric vehicles have a better carbon footprint. What’s more, the electricity not consumed by the charging station will be fed into the grid to meet other domestic, industrial and other needs.<\/p>\n
