The Brachy wind farm, located in the Seine-Maritime department of Normandy, was first commissioned in 2007.<\/p>\n

Renewal of the wind farm began in September 2023 to optimize energy production. One year later, in September 2024, the new wind farm is now operational!<\/p>\n

Still comprising five wind turbines, the park now benefits from the latest-generation machines, enabling a significant increase in electricity production.<\/p>\n

What are the advantages of the new wind farm?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to the new turbines, the total output of the wind farm has risen from 12.5 MW to 15 MW. As a result, annual production is set to rise by around 80%, to around 48,000 MWh per year. The wind farm will thus be able to supply the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 21,720 inhabitants.<\/p>\n
