Our values

Belief

Kallista Energy’s mission is to develop energy sources that build a viable future for the next generations. We want to deliver electricity at a competitive price, while taking into account the climate emergency. We firmly believe that renewable energy is one of the essential solutions for ensuring Europe’s energy independence and breaking free from our dependence on fossil fuels. Our Group therefore wishes to contribute, at its own scale, to the global movement towards a low-carbon society.

Ethics

At Kallista Energy, the Group’s performance is underpinned by strict respect for stakeholders and the applicable regulatory frameworks in each of the countries where we operate. All our employees adhere to our Code of Conduct which sets out prohibited behaviours, in particular those that may constitute acts of corruption or influence-peddling. As a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, Kallista Energy also ensures that its business partners share these same principles of respect for individuals and the rule of law.

Kallista Energy would rather not complete a project or fail to win it, than win or complete it by means that are of questionable legality.
A pragmatic approach

Kallista Energy invests in competitive technologies that offer the best balance between available resources, performance and environmental impact. Kallista Energy’s decisions are in no way guided by ideology, but solely by the pursuit of economic and ecological viability. The Group is diversifying its portfolio with mature solutions to help accelerate the electrification of end-uses, whilst ensuring its own resilience.

Sustainability

For Kallista Energy, it is essential that any energy strategy is viewed from a long-term perspective. The solutions deployed today are designed to ensure, in the long run, electricity generation that is competitive with other energy sources and resilient to economic and climate changes. The reversibility of the installations also enables the sites we operate to be restored to their original state, without limiting the options available to future generations. Finally, as our installations are designed to last for around twenty years or more, our Group builds long-term relationships with its stakeholders.

Our efficiency approach involves using the latest technologies to maximize the use of each site’s energy potential, while reducing maintenance costs. To this end, our Group has launched a program of systematic renewal of wind turbines designed in the 2000s, to ensure that we have the most efficient machines and the lowest maintenance costs.
