Official opening of Windpark Oostflakkee in the Netherlands
Windpark Oostflakkee was officially opened on 15 October 2021 in the Netherlands!
We were very happy to share this moment with the entrepreneurs (including landowners and farmers) who initiated this project more than 10 years ago, local stakeholders and business partners.
The windpark is located on the Goeree-Overflakkee island, around 30 km South-West of Rotterdam.
Windpark Oostflakkee holds a very special place in Kallista Energy’s portfolio as it is the company’s first project in the Netherlands.
We warmly thank all our partners who have made this project a success!
Our team will make sure the 8 Enercon E126-EP3 turbines provide renewable electricity to at least 35,000 households every year!
Kallista Energy is now looking forward to contributing even more to the energy transition in the Netherlands with new projects.
