Kallista Energy supplies wind power to Mint under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)

In 2023, Kallista Energy will supply the electricity produced by its wind farm in Brachy (Seine-Maritime – Normandy) to Mint, the electricity supplier, under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

The Brachy wind farm, in operation since 2007, has reached the end of its purchase obligation contract with the French Government. Five wind turbines with a total capacity of 12 MW produce the equivalent of the electricity needed to meet the demands of around 10,000 inhabitants or to travel more than 164 million kilometres by electric car*. Kallista Energy currently has 38 wind and solar farms in France, the Netherlands and Germany.  The group is working on other PPAs for its new renewable electricity production parks or for those that are coming to the end of their purchase obligation contract.
